PAYMENT:
Booking fee of $200.00 at signing of contract (part of stallion fee)
2 weeks board upon delivery of mare
Balance of stallion fee, board and any vet bills before mare is released for pickup.
LIVE FOAL GUARANTEE:
In the event that the mare does not produce a “Live Foal”, defined as standing and nursing
for (48) hours, Royal View Farm agrees to breed the same mare again at no additional
Stallion Fee within the same or next breeding season or to refund the stallion fee minus
booking fee. A substitute mare may be used if said mare is found infertile. Royal View
Farm must be notified within (7) days, by means of written Veterinary statement inclusive
of the physical condition of the mare and foal and reason of death if foal does not survive.
MARE CONDITION:
Mare owner must provide a current coggins certificate and record of vaccinations upon
delivery of mare. Mare must be halter broken. A copy of the mare’s registration papers
and feeding instructions and worming history must be supplied. Please include 3 days of
feed and hay to aid in transition. Royal View Farm reserves the right to reject any mare
who is in poor condition or dangerous.
REGISTRATION:
Royal View Farm agrees to execute all necessary paperwork for the registration of the
resulting foal.
VETERINARY CARE:
Royal View Farm agrees to use reasonable care and caution in handling of mare. In the
event Veterinary care is needed, Royal View Farm will contact a Veterinarian, after trying
to contact Mare Owner. Mare Owner is responsible for Veterinary costs.
RISK OF LOSS AND HOLD HARMLESS:
Mare Owner agrees to assume the risk of loss due to injury, sickness, or death of mare
(and/or foal).
Royal View Farm agrees to diligently try to settle the mare. The Owner shall agree to
allow ample time and opportunity to settle mare. If the mare does not settle, the Owner
will hold Royal View Farm harmless. Please provide any additional information about the
mare which may help in our breeding and care efforts so we can accommodate the mare
comfortably.
